Matt was excellent, from the moment that we met him! He took a lot of notes about "us" and paid attention to detail. All of the details were placed into our wedding ceremony with seriousness and some laughter. Everyone at our wedding commented on how smooth it went. Don't cut corners on your important day, chose "First Officiant" to make your big day, even better!

Matt Nathanson did a phenominal job for us. The ceremony he put together was above all our expectations. He made it lighthearted, fun, romantic... essentially all the things we asked of him. Our guests commented that it seemed as though Matt had known us for years, when in truth we had only met once prior to the big day. He is very professional and is simply a great guy and great to work with. We would recommend him to anyone!

Matt was the easiest choice out of all the vendors we hired for our wedding. He made everything so easy and stress-free. We absolutely love the way our ceremony turned out and how he fit in all the personal things we emailed him, such as favorite memories and things we love about each other. It was perfect and light hearted just like we wanted it to be. We got so many compliments on how it went! People said it was by far the best ceremony they've seen. They loved how as soon as they would get tears in their eyes, something was said that made them laugh. And that is exactly what we wanted. Thank you Matt for making our wedding a very special, personal and intimate day. I would definitely recommend Matt for any wedding.

Matt was everything we wanted for an officiant. He is a genuinely nice person and is extremely laid back and knows how to make the ceremony about the couple's love. The ceremony was extremely personalized, he asks you questions and incorporates your answers in the ceremony. Everybody thought that he had known us for a long time, he is that good. It was nice having somebody that was young, hip, intelligent and kind at the ceremony, supporting us when we felt nervous and filling our day with so much love. I could not recommend him higher! We planned the wedding long distance, from NYC and only exchanged emails, some phone calls and met once a few days before the wedding AND did not have a rehearsal and it turned out perfectly. If you want to NOT bore your guests and want to have a less traditional approach (he does the traditional as well), then you have go with Matt. He really, made the day special.

Matt blows all other officiants away!!! He made our ceremony so memorable and personable!!! All my family and friends kept complimenting us, and are still complimenting us on our incredible ceremony. Everyone said that our ceremony was by far the best they have been to and the first one the actually paid attention to. Everyone actually enjoyed listening! Matt really understands the importance of making your ceremony unique to you and is always willing to provide suggestions to help you achieve that. He also adds some surprising twists to the readings that I don’t want to ruin! But no worries there… They are smart, heartfelt, and charming. It will make you both laugh and cry. I wouldn’t change a thing and couldn’t ask for anything better.

Matt was fantastic. My fiance and I at last opted for a small simple ceremony prior to our vacation (which we turned in to a honeymoon). He and I work in separate states, so we needed to do nearly all of the coordination by phone and email. I contacted Matt and he was incredibly responsive, worked with us via email and phone, and performed a really wonderful ceremony for us and a couple of friends and family. He was extremely flexible, and I was so glad he was able to accomodate our oddball wedding ceremony time choice (a Thursday morning!!). Would highly recommend him to anyone!

Matt is an amazing officiant. We liked him the moment we met him. He is easy to work with and is very organized. He made our ceremony very easy to plan and I never felt stressed. As far as the actual ceremony went, it could not have been more perfect. I liked that Matt adds just the right amount of humor to the ceremony. Our guests were laughing right off the bat. He personalizes your ceremony to fit the couple. The ceremony was so personalized that guests thought he was a friend of ours. Our ceremony was so memorable that guests have still talked about it weeks after the fact. I highly recommend Matt. But book him as early as you can, we got lucky that he was available!

Matt couldn't come more highly recommended from us. He was awesome to work with, very organized upon our first meeting, providing us with examples and wording to help us design what kind of ceremony we wanted, and arrived to our wedding early to make sure he was going to do everything exactly the way we envisioned. He personalized our ceremony expertly, telling "our story" to people that may not have known our background as if he had known us for years. There were laughs, there were tears, and many people came up to us and told us it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended. He made it a day to remember and I'll be forever grateful. If you hire Matt, you will be too.

I received so many complements on our ceremony. Guests loved the informal way Matt conducted the service. He had my husband and I fill out a questionnaire and incorporated it into the ceremony. It really made the ceremony feel personal. He had us laughing one second and crying the next. It set the perfect tone for the rest of the wedding.

Matt was such an amazing officiant. We could not have asked for more. When we met with him, we knew right away that he was right for our wedding. He is young, easy-going, has a great sense of humor, and is easy to get along with. We did not want a religious ceremony and he was perfectly setup to accommodate that, although he is also willing to go the other way. He provided many examples to choose from for our ceremony and was great about personalizing the wedding to our liking. Matt was very quick to respond and very professional. The day of our wedding, he was there early for the ceremony. He checked in with us both to make sure everything was good to go and performed a great ceremony. We received numerous compliments on his performance. We were so grateful to have met Matt and for him to have fit us into his already busy day!

Two words...HIRE Matt!!! He is worth every penny and MORE, I seriously would have paid double! Everyone that attended the wedding said it was by far the best ceremony they had ever been to, not to short, not too long and everyone learned something about me and my husband. Matt does a FANTASTIC job, he gives you variety and gets to know you as individuals, but most importantly as a couple. When we initially met with Matt we knew we wanted to hire him within the first 5 minutes, he is really easy to talk to and really listens to your story and how you picture your wedding ceremony. Our ceremony was unique to me and my husband, I am Christian and my husband is a non-believer, Matt mixed both beliefs in a way that made it extra special but the personal touches were beautiful! You will not be disappointed if you hire Matt, he is WONDERFUL and he will make your wedding ceremony unforgettable!!! Thank you Matt!

Matt was tryly amazing. He made our ceremony personal, memorable, and 100% us. Several guests from the wedding asked us how long we had known him. He put so many personal details into the ceremony, we both had a great time, and we owe it all to him. I had a problem with my dress, and had to delay the ceremony for a while. When I finally got down the isle Matt broke the ice, and I could instantly feel the energy lighten. We could never thank him enough for making our day so special.

Matt was incredible. From the moment we first spoke to him on the phone until we were signing our marriage license he was kind, funny and brought EXACTLY what we were looking for in our service.
It's clear that Matt takes a lot of time to compile a ceremony that is personal. He spends time gathering information and really getting to know you. We found his ceremony to be MORE than we imagined it could be...it's funny, it's endearing, it's a tear-jerker.
We have nothing but praise for Matt. You won't be sorry with what he brings to your wedding.

We were looking for someone that would give us a short and sweet ceremony but at the same time...FUN! Matt provided everything we could have hoped for. He gave us a variety of options to choose from for our ceremony, depending on what style we wanted. Matt was the BEST, most wonderful, absolutely fantastic, and every other amazing adjective you can use to describe someone, officiant! I would definitely recommend him to any couple I know getting married. He did an amazing job capturing who my husband and I are and how we wanted our ceremony to be! Everyone at the wedding complimented us on our choice of officiant! And they were right to! He helped my husband and I in so many ways! We had no idea what we wanted, or thought we wanted but Matt helped us through all the difficult decisions! The personal touches he adds to the ceremony are priceless and will never be forgotten! He is definitely the BEST person out there and after you meet with him you will too see why he is the most amazing officiant for soon to be brides and grooms!!!!
