We really can't say enough about Jeff at Anderson Image and the fantastic memories he captured from our wedding. We're very fortunate to know Jeff personally, but having had the opportunity now to work with him professionally, we can confidently say that he is as a great a photographer as he is a friend. Jeff is not only a gifted artist, but he was so professional while still putting us, our families, and our wedding party at ease for the pictures. Capturing the right moments and working with the unique situations obviously comes so naturally to Jeff - we hardly knew he was there during some of those really special and emotional moments. We could not have asked for a more gifted photographer for our wedding or for more beautiful pictures. Our families still spend hours looking at the photos Jeff captured and it always brings tears to everyone's eyes - he just captured everything so beautifully. Everyone tells you that the wedding goes by so fast and it is true. We wanted a photographer that could capture all the little things that we would possibly miss. So much time and effort goes into all the little details--- the dress, the shoes, the flowers, the escort cards, the food, the lighting. We expected Anderson Image to capture all these little things and, while they did just that, they did SO MUCH MORE. Jeff captured the moments--- the tears, the laughter, the little squeals of glee, the crazy dancers after some mai tais, the wonderful sunset, and the tenderness and love between me and my new husband. There was such a good mix of artistic shots and photojournalistic images. Jeff was so unobstrusive and made us feel so comfortable, many times we did not even notice he was there! He was professional, had great advice and has a wonderful eye for the perfect moments. My husband and I committed to paying for our wedding and wanted to ensure money was well spent. Over 2 months, we interviewed 12 photographers, and finally hired Anderson Image for our upcoming nuptials at the Scottsdale Princess Resort. Although we were still 6 months out and happy to “check the very expensive photography box”, we were uncertain our high standards would be met. Fast forward to the last week in March 2010; nervous and stressed, I wondered how Jeff would create magic from a venue he had never shot at before. To my surprise, Jeff took time to scope the venue the week of the wedding and even made an appearance at our rehearsal to introduce himself to everyone. This was the first of countless professional and thinking “out of the box” ideas Jeff and his staff exemplified. On our wedding day he was fun, kind, patient and energetic to my overbearing family. His positive demeanor was contagious and set the tone for us all! The entire day was a blur; hours seemed like minutes and before we knew it, Anderson Image said their farewells. When I asked Jeff how long before we saw our images, he said 4 weeks; 3 weeks later, we viewed them for the first time. My husband and I watched our photos come to life as they were set to music. With tears in our eyes, sitting in silence, we remembered all of the love and memory of our special day. There are not enough words to describe the beauty and creative genius Anderson Image captured!!! Jeff Calbom of Anderson Image Photography is my dream come true. My husband and I found Jeff's website one night surfing the net. I had already looked at nearly 30 photography websites and I was getting tired of browsing around. I'm not kidding when I say this but when I found his website his artwork of photography brought tears to my eyes. I showed my husband the website, because I figured I must be crazy, and he loved it too, just as much as I did. We just sat looking through photos and photos of brides and grooms we didn?t even know, feeling like we were experiencing their specials moments with them at that exact moment. How often can you say that? When you can look at an image and feel an emotional connection to it, I believe that is true art. Next, I met Jeff and had a chance to look at his work in person. I booked him at once for my engagement shoot, and my wedding! No questions asked. I don?t want to share his secrets for other photographers to imitate, but I can say this, his dedication to the industry and all things with photography, music, and technology, make you feel like your wedding day or engagement shoot is a true love story for everyone to see and experience! I loved his demeanor and "went with" any of his ideas. Jeff is very good at what he does. There were times that we forgot that he was even there shooting us. Our engagement pictures were in the red mountains of Sedona AZ (Jeff's idea to drive us up there) we hiked around while he was following close behind capturing every moment on his camera. We were so pleased with our photos. To this day, those photos bring me back to that perfect day. Obviously our chemistry with Jeff was even greater by the day of our wedding. Our pictures were PHENOMINAL! He captured every moment, every tear, every dance move, even my young cousin Joey who snuck away to the chocolate fondue table and was face deep licking a plate of hot chocolate! I will try my best to put into words the incredible impact that Jeff and Anderson Image Photography had on the most important day of my life. On my wedding day I had lots of things go wrong and the stress level was rising steadily. However, the one thing that I never had to worry about was the pictures. Jeff was so easy to work with. He blended in well and helped my husband and I relax so we were able to take some awesome pictures. He was able to capture the feeling of the day and all the emotion in the pictures. Even some of the mishaps that he was able to catch in photos are moments that I now cherish because it was all part of that day. I look at my wedding photos now and feel like I am there again! It is like I can relive my happiest day whenever I want! He was also able to take pictures of almost everyone who came which is something I really appreciated because afterwards it was hard to remember everyone who had been there. It has been over two years since our wedding, and perhaps the most enduring and valuable investment we made in the whole endeavor was choosing Jeff at Anderson Image to capture our day. He is one of the warmest, most accommodating, professional, and fun people you will ever find to work with! And, our images were more beautiful than I could've imagined. Jeff was absolutely phenomenal! I could not have asked for anything more in a photographer - he was kind, courteous, friendly, and above all...very talented. He made planning a destination wedding very easy as he was willing to travel and made himself available to us at any time. Our photographs and album are beautiful. The album is very unique - none of our friends have anything like it! After a lot of searching, we also thought the value of our photography package could not be beat. He had proofs for us very soon after the wedding and he surprised with an engagement shoot slide show to be displayed on our wedding day. Overall, he is a two thumbs up, A+++, five star photographer!

When searching for a wedding photographer we were looking for someone who could capture our day in a photo-journalistic style. Jeff did a great job of this and was also very creative in his ideas for some of the posed shots. He was always easy to communicate with and responded promptly to our questions. Our digital proofs and printed photos were all provided in a very timely manner. Jeff is definitely a talented artist, but what makes him highly recommendable is his personality. Jeff did not contribute to any stress on my wedding day. He was friendly, calm and flexible while remaining on-task. He is very unobtrusive and there were many times where I forgot that he was even taking pictures.
