Carrillo's Wedding Emporium

The staff was very helpful when I bought the dress, but the lady who did the alterations was magnificent! She knew exactly what she was doing and where to make changes to hide lines, back fat, take care of wrinkles, etc. She was very professional and did such a great job on my dress! The only thing I didn't like (which was probably because of my ridiculously long train) was the bussle in the back kept falling down when I was dancing. Would definitely recommend buying your dress(es) and altering them here!

No appointment was required for a fitting. I really liked the helpful recommendations and tips I got there. The consultant was honest in telling me if she didn't think the style was right for me. And she was right! When I tried on my dress, I knew it was the one! The cost was affordable and they linked me to a fabulous alterations specialist, Elegant Reflections, just a few blocks away. The only small downside was that I usually had to wait for my fitting appointments.

I bought my dress from here. I was pretty pleased with the service. I ordered my dress at the end of March and was told it would be in around the end of July. I waited until then and contacted the store to see if it was in. They informed me that it would be in the end of August. Luckily my dress came in time for the wedding. The staff was very pleasent to deal with.

I LOVED my dress and the groom/ groomsmen tuxedos. I went in alone to buy my dress. I explained my budget and she found me the perfect dress in my 1st visit. I am not a size 3 bride I explained to her my dress insecurities and not only did she allow me my dignity but was so professional in handling everything. so sweet and really cared about what I had to say and found me a dress for MY body type. I brag to everybody where I got my wedding dress and tuxedos :)

I purchased a dress for my daughter in July of 2010. It was a pretty dress, and the dress was a bargain. At the time of the purchase I explained that we needed to get the photo done earlier than our event date due to some of the unique, personalized (with photos) items which were were making for the event. The consultant explained that the dress would arrive in about 4 months. Four months came and passed, and still no dress. I called, and they stated that the dress would be in by December. I waited and called again. In December they started to get a little testy, stating that I did not need the dress until August. I explained again that we needed a photo of my daughter in the dress, and one of the custom-made items would take 4 - 6 months to make. They promised it to be in by January and stated, "We wil call you. You do not need to call us." Again, I called in January, and a consultant let me know that the dress had not even been ordered because I did not need the dress until August. I called and complained, but the staff members were rude and told me again that my event was not for 7 months. I explained again that we needed the photo with my daughter in her dress. The owner stated that the dress would be in the next month. By February 13th, we finally felt it was necessary to lose the deposit and find a dress elsewhere. We went to Brides 2 Be, and we had a new dress within 2 months. The prices there were amazing, and the owner gave us a great price for the group items which included about a dozen dresses and tuxedoes. I will definitely return to Brides 2 Be for my next daughter's quinceanera in 19 months.

Good deal! I came to Carrillo's after going to about 8 other bridal stores/boutiques all around the East Valley. By that point, I had tried on so many gowns that I had a much better idea of what I wanted. I tried on a few and found that I didn't quite fall in love with any of the styles they carried in store. However, Elizabeth was the kind lady that assisted me, and she took such care in helping me search for the right dress. I exited the store still undecided, but left with a good impression of Elizabeth's courteousness and experience. I happened to find THE DRESS at another shop that carried more styles that fit my body type (short and thin), but wanted to sell me the dress for more than I was willing to spend. So, I did my research and called around - got lied to by a number of stores that claimed there was no way a Casablanca dress could be sold for almost 30% off the suggested retail price. Carrillo's was selling my dress at an already reduced price, then offered an extra 20% off! They didn't know that they could put in the order to Casablanca with my custom length for free, but Elizabeth immediately jumped on the phone with me in the store, and confirmed that they could do that for me. My dress came in earlier than anticipated by about 2 weeks, and since I moved, Carrillo's even offered to ship the dress to me to another state for a very very low S&H price. Highly recommended!!

This place was alright. I got a beautiful dress at a great price. Unfortunately I had to constantly keep on the people who worked there. They told me they would call when the dress got in but they never did so I found three weeks after it had got in. I had to take care of everything for them I even had to remind them several times to steam the dress. As long as you don't mind having to stay on top of them I would recommend this vendor.

I ordered all my bridesmaid dresses here and I thought the staff and service here was great. I called about 10 different places for the specific dress I was looking for and they gave me a 10% discount, which came out to be the lowest in price. All the girls arrived, were sized, and the dresses arrived at the time they said they would. No problems at all and everytime I spoke with them on the phone, they were friendly and helpful. Note: I did not order my wedding gown from here or get alterations done so I can't rate on those items.

Had a good selection of dresses to try on. Not the cheapest but still a better price range than other stores in the area. The staff made ordering my dress fast and easy. One word of advise: check your dress completely and carefully before you take it from the store. A patch of threads on the train on my dress had popped and needed to be reattached. Other than that, wonderful service.

Got my dress for a much better price than competitors around the valley!! They even give a free grooms tux with purchase of a wedding dress!! Loved them!!!

Wedding Emporium has a nice selection of dresses and the prices are, for wedding dresses, some of the best you'll find in the Phoenix area. The salespeople who work there are helpful without being overbearing. Also, the seamstress the employ is very good. The only thing about this store is they will often tell you it takes more time to do something than it should (press bridesmaid dresses, alterations, etc.) Do'nt let this discourage you, if you need it sooner -- just push them on it, and they will comply. They definitely know what they are doing and are professionals.

I got my gown and my bridesmaids dresses here. Great service!! they made everything easy. I had no problems at all! The dresses were gorgeous and extremely affordable!!!

this place does it all....bridal gowns, formal wear for the attendants, tuxes, photos....they were great.
