Make-Up by Heather Wilson

Let me begin by saying, let the woman work her magic! Like every bride, I was used to doing my own makeup and any deviance from that made me nervous. I made this poor girl do two trials just to make sure I could handle it. The pictures turned out beautifully and I was blown away when I saw myself in them. She made me look like me and not at all caked and fake. I'm currently trying to recreate what she did and work it into my own daily routine... alas, to no avail *sigh*. She even got my mom to wear makeup (who has never before had her makeup be done to her liking)! Her work is top notch.

I LOVED HEATHER!!! She came early to our hotel room and was amazing!! She did my makeup and that of four bridesmaids. She even did my moms make up and it wasn't in the contract...she did it to be nice! She is a BIT pricey but totally worth every cent with her professionalism and quality of the products she uses. If I have an event in my life that I need make up for I am totally calling her! She is a fun person and made everyone look and feel beautiful!!

Heather was a great find! She has an extensive resume and specializes in airbrush make up. She did my bridal make up as well as my mom and bridesmaids and everyone loved her and felt beautiful, which was the most important thing!

We had a destination wedding in Scottsdale and did much of the planning online, through emails and over the phone. Going into my search, all I really knew is that I wanted a make-up artist that did air-brush foundation and false eye lashes. I came across Heather’s name on several preferred vendor lists so I recognized her name when I read many very favorable reviews on various wedding websites. During a visit to Scottsdale a few months prior to our wedding, I took the opportunity to schedule a make-up trial with Heather. This was my one and only chance so I was crossing my fingers that Heather and I were a good fit. To put it simply, she’s amazing! In addition to being tremendously friendly and professional, Heather has a very peaceful and calm tone about her which was very comforting to this bride. She took the time to not only test out looks on me but also my mom. Needless to say, my mom and I were both pleased. Heather then went above and beyond and took my mom to Sephora at Fashion Square and helped my mom match new foundation. It was really so sweet of her and it really touched me that she would take time out of her day to help my mom feel beautiful everyday! We were so excited to book Heather’s services for myself, my mom and all 8 bridesmaids. There were 2 bridesmaids that were a little on the fence about getting their make-up professionally done because they had never experienced how great air-brush foundation still looks at the end of a long day (and in pictures) and how beautiful false eye lashes can make a girl feel. But Heather made believers out of them! I never felt stressed on the wedding day and I attribute much of that to our hair and make-up team. Our pictures were fabulous and highlighted Heather’s make-up expertise! I would strongly recommend all brides to Heather!

Heather was simply fabulous. After looking online at her extensive portfolio, I knew she was someone I could trust to make me look beautiful, yet natural at the same time. At the trial, she tried multiple different ideas for the eyes and took pictures both inside and outside so I could really see the difference and choose which one I liked best. Then she did both eyes that way and completed the look entirely before the end of the trial (I have heard that some just stop after they figure out which colors you want). She uses airbrush foundation which stays on perfectly all day long (and even into the next day!) and does not smudge. It looks natural and not caked on at all. I got so many wonderful comments on how great the girls and I looked and I know that most of that is thanks to heather! She did an excellent job on all skin types and all ages and truly brought out the most beautiful aspects of every person. Thank you so much heather for making us all fabulous!!

I found Heather online and after looking through her portfolio I did a trial with her. She was so much fun to work with and such a complete job making sure it was a look that I loved. She took pictures of it on a professional camera inside and outside to show me what it would look like in photos. I ended up changing my mind a little bit the day of and she did exactly what I wanted, I couldn't have pictured it better. She also did my mom and sister's makeup and they both loved theirs as well. I would recommend Heather to everyone!

Heather Wilson went above and beyond any expectations a bride could envision on her big day. As the consummate professional, Heather suggested we play calming music and "relax" while bridesmaids, children, mothers, and grandmothers continued their three-ring circus primping, cackling, and carrying on just on the other side of the door. And knowing I hadn't eaten the morning of my wedding, Heather ensured the hotel prepare something to settle my stomach. It was the best breakfast I've ever had. Back to the task at hand: making me beautiful. Heather transformed my look into the 'ethereal, dewy, and glowing' bride I was hoping to be. She knew exactly what to do, as we had spent several hours during the trial experimenting with different colors and shades. In addition, Heather sensed I was not pleased with my hair after the stylist had come and gone. At no additional charge and on her own volition, she was able to create the long, beachy waves and curls with only 15 minutes to spare. Did I mention how beautiful my mother looked?! After an hour with Heather, my mother's makeup was flawless. Heather made her eyes standout in a way I'd never seen before. Outstanding. I'm so grateful to have found a truly talented artist who is passionate about her work and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the bride looks and feels her best. Without the latter, my wedding would not have been nearly as enjoyable and memorable as it turned out to be.

I had heather do my makeup for my october 9th wedding and can't say enough about her!! she is AMAZING!!! We did a trial fun a few days before the wedding.. i told her what i thought i wanted and she executed it to a tee. After going out with my girls that night and taking pictures i realized that the look i asked for wasn't the right look for the wedding day.. so i told heather the day of the wedding.. and i was a little nervous since we hadn't practiced that look. IT WAS PERFECT!!! I never felt so pretty! Every time someone sees my pictures the first words are.. OMG YOUR EYES!!! the makeup was flawless and lasted over 10 hours!!!!! Heather.. thank you thank you thank you!! You are professional. fun. and soooo talented! i can't wait to have another occasion that calls for makeup.. you know ill be calling you!!! i would recommend heathers work to any one and everyone looking for a makeup artist!!!!!!!

Heather was amazing! She did hair and makeup for myself, 2 bridesmaids and both moms. Everyone was happy with how they looked. It was nice to have one person doing both hair and makeup. We all looked amazing. . . she was very personable and went above and beyond. I got the full day package which meant she stayed after the ceremony to touch us all up before pictures and the reception. Thank you Heather! It was a great day :)

I was amazed at how wonderful Heather was to have around on my wedding day. She is such a well-known artist, yet made me feel like a total diva! My makeup lasted hours and hours (I was sad to wash it off because it still looked beautiful). I hired her for the day to do all the bridesmaids and moms and provide touchups until the reception. Best investment ever! She kept me beautiful, helped bustle my dress, fanned me with the dress (it was 95 degrees), fixed my headpiece, etc. She stayed with me to help me stay calm while my bridesmaids began the processional. She even helped my dad and I rehearse the "lifting of my veil." I've seen the pictures from my family members, and Heather was caught on film fixing the flower girl's hair, taking a lint roller to the groomsmen, even sewing a button back on a groomsman's tux! All of my bridesmaids loved her- they still talk about how fabulous Heather was! I wish I could have Heather do my makeup everyday. The pictures are awesome. I'm so grateful to her, and she was worth every penny.

Heather Wilson is a very professional individual with high quality makeup. She makes you feel comfortable and also teaches & provides tips on how to choose your makeup. I contacted her a week before the wedding and Thank God she was available! She was another one of my saviors. My hair was done at the resort salon and I absolutely hated it. I had no time to change it there, so Heather decided she'd try to soften up my updo. She worked her magic and I am truly grateful that she took the time to make me happy. Thank you Heather!

Heather was amazing! I live out of town and was recommended to her by and friend absolutely loved her. She makes you feel so comfortable while doing your make up and listens to exactly what you want! My makeup looked amazing on my wedding day! My best friend is using her for her wedding and I cant wait to get my makeup done again by her! I highly recommend Heather!

I found Heather Wilson online and after reading her reviews I decided to call her since I wasn't happy with the few other artist I had already tried. She was very flexible and made an appointment to come to me right away. As soon as she arrived at my house I felt like I had found my makeup artist and she hadnt even gotten started. She was so fun and did an amazing job making everyone look great for my wedding. I am not normally a girlie girl who wears lots of makeup so she gave me tips how to apply makeup and even products she loves to use. I booked Heather before she left my house that day. I tell everyone about her and describe her as someone I would be friends with even if she wasn't doing my makeup.

Heather Wilson is a true professional. She was referred to me by another bride who had nothing but good things to say about her. She did my make-up and three girls in the wedding party. I was very excited after my trial with her, she takes digital pictures of you while you have your different looks-so that you can really see what it will look like! My sister has red bumps on her face, and Heather was able to cover them without making her look like she had make-up caked on or making her look like someone else. She did an amazing job on all our of make-up, and everyone at the wedding kept coming up to me and telling me how BEAUTIFUL I looked. And the make-up stayed all night long! Just needed to touch up my lipstick (Heather asked if I would want her to buy me a tube of the color we choose, so I would have one with me all night). Heather Wilson is worth every penny!

I have never been one to recieve the 5 star treatment but for my wedding I wanted nothing but the best. I researched online to find a few makeup artists that provided airbrushed makeup and Heather was prompt and actually returned my calls. Heather was very easy to reach she also responded to my emails, text messages, and phone calls she always treated me with respect and would never allow me to look bad. The day of my wedding she was as nice as could be almost as if she was family she fit in so well. She was even nice enough to check on me to make sure I was ok before she left. I look at shots friends took 5 hours after I had my makeup done and I still look hot. Thank you Heather you made me beautiful on my big day.

I am so lucky that I had Heather as my makeup artist for my wedding. When Heather first did a makeup trial with me it was 110 degrees outside, later that night I attended an Arizona State football game where my makeup lasted through the last touch down! Heather is not only a talented makeup artist; she is a great person to work with. Her easy going personality fit right in with my wedding party. I hired Heather for the day and she stayed with me throughout all of my pictures, touching me up, fluffing my dress and giving me pointers to make sure that I looked beautiful. I highly recommend her with out any reservations, and have done so already. Trust me she is truly amazing! Thank you Heather for making me look my absolute best on my very special day!

Heather did an amazing job! She not only made me and my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful, but she helped us all relax and made getting ready enjoyable. I've seen Heather do two weddings now (my sister's and mine) and she always does an excellent job. People still comment when they look at our pictures at what a great job she did!
