Sonoran Serenade Big Band

Sonoran Serenade was one of the most impressive things that happened at our wedding next to saying "I do." My husband was responsible for finding the music and considering my type A personalily, I wanted to be involved and it to be perfect....well it was!They responded to my husband within 12 hours of getting our first call and were so kind on the phone and made my husband feel at ease about selecting them. John Cowan, the band manager was with us every step of the way - he went to the venue to check size prior, met us when we came into town (we were out of state), helped select music and mostly just reassured us that it will be a great event and a fun party! added bonus, I was able to sing with this incredible 20 piece band. Thank you for being remarkable.!

The Sonoran Serenade band was the number one thing that people raved about after our wedding. We had a small, elegant receptionnd the Sonoran Serenade band truly made our wedding beautiful and memorable. Elvin is a professional, very responsive and he went out of his way to ensure that we got everything we wanted on our big day. I would recommend this band to everyone. Bystanders at the resort where we were married thought we were having a celebrity wedding once they heard the music...seriously. It was worth every penny. ny.

Elvin and the band were outstanding and made my daughter's wedding reception very fun and memorable. Elvin was very organized and professional and he took the time to meet and go over all of the details long before the wedding so that they could learn the special songs and make her wedding a "dream come true". Everybody danced all evening! My next two daughters hope to have his band at their weddings too!

Working with Elvin and the Sonoran Serenade Big Band was truly easy and they were very accommodating. Living in Kingman, AZ, we had our choice of bands from Las Vegas, Phoenix, and LA. Our reception was a 1940's style hangar party so Sonoran Serenade fit in perfectly. We chose them because of their sound, look, and more band for our buck. Elvin was very organized and on top of all the details. Overall, everyone was very satisfied and enjoyed the evening-very memorable.

We loved working with Elvin and the Sonoran Sernade Big Band! Their professionalism and prompt reasponse to all of our inquiries made our wedding planning so easy. Their performance was amazing and made our wedding truely memorable. We loved the mix of music they played and they had our guests dancing all night long.

The band was wonderful. Our guests dance the night away. From the first song to the last. Everyone from the youngest (2 years old) to the oldest 90 years old] danced. The band made my daughter's wedding a memory that will last a lifetime by all who attended.

Sonoran Serenade Big Band was excellent! Five Stars on every detail. It was a pleasure working with them and the music was exceptional. It was indeed the final touches for a wonderful evening!

I called Elvin Monteleone when we were planning our music for our reception. Throughout the whole process Elvin was very helpful, and responsive to any questions we had regarding all things band (songlist, stage, attire, first dance, ceremony music, cocktail hour, etc.) Simply put; The Sonoran Serenade Big Band was really the highlight of our reception. They were awesome. All of our guest commented on how cool the band was. If you like Big Band music and some 40's standards; then you'll love them. They have a male and female vocalist who are both great singers as they sing about 45% of the time. The rest of the playlist is instrumental. They do and will play 50's-present music and are willing to work with you for the atmosphere and party that you want to create. For our wedding they played their standard set with some 60's and 70's R&B that had our guests up and dancing. They have a big sound; really filled the reception room. I'm not sure I'd really change anything about our experience with Elvin or the band.

Sonoran Serenade Big Band provided the music for the reception at my daughter's wedding. We are a musical family, so the music choice was important, and she wanted something unique. We were not disappointed! Elvin was wonderful to work with, and the quality of music and professionalism were top-notch. My daughter and her husband had spent some months taking swing lessons prior to the wedding and began the dance with their lively and fun rendition of "In the Mood"-- a huge hit! We received many comments on the fantastic music-- I strongly recommend this band!

What a very special pleasure to have the Sonoran Serenade Band play for our wedding reception! They were all so much fun to work with and more than willing to play our requested music as well as favorites from their standard repertoire. They even changed to a faster tempo we wanted for our first dance song, Moonlight Serenade. And they allowed us to actually rehearse our first dance with the full band prior to our wedding date. The best part was, everyone there had the time of their lives!! Our friends and family members are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. So many of them have told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Choosing the Sonoran Serenade to play for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Elvin was very professional, easy to work with and the music was simply outstanding. Every one of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the event and how great the band was.
