Strut

A little shop with a lot of class. My dad works in the Phoenix area and told me about Strut. The customer services is outstanding, from booking my appointment to trying on dresses. They have dresses from sizes 12 and up, and a pretty good selection. I came in with ideas of what I wanted and they pulled about 6 dresses close to the style I was looking for. They are willing to help try on the dresses which was nice, for my mom to sit back and watch. I would RECOMMEND Strut to any bride from a dress size 12 and up. They will make you feel special...

Very pleased with the selection of dresses at Strut. Also a great selection of shrugs/jackets for those who want to cover their upper arms (like myself). I wound up buying an off-the-rack dress from the previous season. Unfortunately, Strut does not have in-house alterations, but they did recommend a wonderful lady that did a spectacular job. My interaction with Strut itself was short - try on, buy dress - but I was glad they had a huge selection to try on.

Ann at Strut Bridal is so wonderful! She offers beautiful dresses for full figured brides. I went to other bridal salons and it was a nightmare because dresses didn't fit, all the sample sizes were size 6-8. Strut has samples that actually fit, and Ann was able to make suggestions and helped me find the perfect dress! It was such a different experience compared to the other salons. She made me feel like she cared about me and helped me find the dress that was everything I ever dreamed of! She was even able to help me make changes and additions to make it uniquely mine. I would highly recommend Strut Bridal Salon to anyone looking to find their wedding dress.

Strut was wonderful! It was so nice to go into a store that had samples in my size! I'm a size 16 and it was so annoying to go into a store with samples in either a size 8 or 10. There is absolutely no way to tell if the dress is right unless it fits when you try it on. I went and tried on about 5 dresses, and I chose the 2nd dress I tried on. Most of the dresses were a little more expensive than I was looking to spend, but I got a dress that was on sale because it was a sample. My seamstress fixed a couple of things and it was perfect! I had a great experience and I felt beautiful on my wedding day!

I would give Strut 10 stars if I could. Ann is amazing. From the moment you walk through the door, Ann feels like a close friend. She gave us a tour of the store and made us feel right at home. Being a plus size bride made me a little nervous and Strut made all that nervousness go away. I was worried there wouldn't be enough selection to try on and find exactly what I wanted but sure enough I did! I absolutely love my wedding dress... and that is thanks to the girls at Strut.

Ann is AMAZING!!!! I looked at several stores here in Tucson and never once had that special feeling of the perfect gown. I began looking around the internet and found Strut Bridal in Phoenix. I called Ann and set up an appointment. Ann and I talked about what I wanted (simple elegance) she pulled a few dresses and I pulled a few. The moment she put my dress on me (she picked out) I knew it was the one. Ann was so helpful and funny, she made the whole experience special! She even helped us find a dress for my plus size sister! and the prices are great!!! Thanks Ann!

I have so many great things to say about Ann and Strut that I am not even sure where to begin! As a plus size girl I was a little worried about dress shopping, no one wants to try on a dress that doesn't fit! I made the 5 hour drive from California to Arizona just to visit Strut. From the moment I walked in the door with my bridal party Ann was very attentive and asked all the right questions. I kept an open mind and tried on various styles, even though I knew some would be a for sure no. Ann pulled a dress off the rack that I wasn't too sure about but I tried it on anyways. I knew as soon as I saw myself that she had picked the perfect dress for me. My relationship with Ann didn't stop once the dress was chosen. I went back and purchased my rehearsal dinner dress from Strut as well. I recommend Strut to everyone. Ladies, whether you live 20 minutes away or several states away, making the trip to Strut for your wedding dress will be worth every minute spent on the road.

Wow! This was such a fun experience! Went in, gave Ann the list of what I was looking for and the list of what I didn't want. Explained the feel of the wedding. And, BAM! Perfect dress! Not what I first anticipated, but.. So perfect. Was everything I hoped for and even more. I was able to accessorize the dress perfectly for me. Ann was friendly, as is her staff. My dress came in early! She was so accommodating with my schedule as I live about 2 hours away. She is amazing. The dress selection is amazing! And, I loved that I could try on so much, with my size that isn't always possible! Such a great experience! And, truly it set the tone for my wedding planning!

Ann at Strut Bridal Salon was great to work with! She is the owner and was the one who I had both of my appointments with. She remembered my name and wedding details every time I came in and she found the perfect dress for me. She was very caring and helpful and I would recommend Strut Bridal Salon to anyone.

Ann at Strut bridal in AZ is an amazing women for creating a dress shop where women 12+ can try on multiple gowns on and not feel like they are so much larger than the girl next to them trying on dresses. I did not end up buying my dress from Ann due to weight loss before my wedding, but she found the perfect Garter to surprise my ASU hubby. Thanks Ann for opening a shop up that caters to the plus size women!

Strut Bridal provides plus size wedding attire. As a plus sized bride (size 24) it was so relieving to step into a salon that had sample sizes (everything I wanted to try on) in my size or larger. On top of that.. the prices were NOT outrageous (as things usually are when they are plus sized)!

It was difficult shopping as a plus sized bride, but they had so many choices that I felt I didn't have to settle

I am so thankful to have found Ann and Strut! I had been to the same old bridal stores and tried on the gowns that didn't fit and was so afraid I was going to have to settle. I did not have to settle for anything at Strut. I told Ann what I had in mind and somehow she managed to find the most amazing dress that was just what I wanted and everything I tried on FIT! I was also afraid with such a speciality shop would come speciality prices and i was wrong. It was no different than any other bridal shop. Thank you Ann for making my wedding day more perfect!

Ann was so fun to work with. I knew what I wanted, she put it on me, and I paid for the dress in less than two hours. The store is local, hip, urban, and oh so cute. I was very happy that I could actually try on my dress. The girls here are awesome and the bridal dress ordering and pick up was painless. They are really good at communicating with clients by phone or email. I felt very confident in Ann. They are so fun I like to just stop by and say hi. It does not matter your size this store has amazing service and selection. Thanks again Ann!

Being a plus size bride, I had gone to several local vendors and was tired of the same 5 designs of dresses to try on. I don't remember how I found Strut, but I AM THANKFUL every day that I did. My first phone call was answered by the owner, Ann, and she was amazing! We set and appointment, and went to the store. I was nervous because I was afraid she had the same dresses that I had already looked at. When we first walked in Ann and Pam welcomed us with huge smiles and all my fears disappeared, the store is AMAZING! Gowns of all shapes and designs were hanging! I told Ann what I was looking for and we looked through the dresses and I picked one or two, Ann also grabbed a few that she thought might work. The dress that I wore on my wedding day was a dress that Ann picked out that is amazing! My 11 year old daughter already has her eye on it for when she gets married!! My only complaint...I plan on only needing one wedding dress!

Ann is beyond wonderful! She made what I feared would be an awful experience fun and exciting and I just had the most beautiful wedding in Sedona wearing my dream dress. I can't say enough about Ann and Strut and would recommend it to all my fellow curvy girls. She is patient and will keep working until you have the dress that makes you feel like the beautiful bride you always dreamt of as a little girl. Ann thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening your store and sharing your love of weddings and curvy girls with us!!

Ann is amazing. She made my dress shopping dreams come true. I live in Tucson, and I'm pretty sure I had tried on every gown size 22+ in Tucson and I never once had any sort of feeling about any dress. I was disappointed at the whole dress shopping experience, I thought it was going to be a giddy day of putting on big white dresses and gushing and crying. Maybe even a montage. But instead all I got anywhere was rude, rushed, not knowledgeable sales staff at every store, no more than 4 dresses I could actually try on in any one shop, and at one shop a sales lady even told me, "I have nothing for you." I was utterly depressed, and was about to buy an "okay" dress at Davids Bridal, and then I learned about Strut. My mom and two of my friends came with me for the drive up, and as soon as I met Ann I knew I was in the right place. She actually, truly cares about how you look and feel on your wedding day. She spent two hours helping me try on every gown in the store because I had no clue what I wanted... I never thought I would have so much of a choice! But there I was, a size 28, feeling beautiful, feeling gushed over, and feeling like a bride... for the first time! I ended up purchasing the most beautiful Allure gown... and it was SOOO affordable! $200 Less than the "okay" one I was going to buy! I left that store walking on air, knowing for the first time I was going to be beautiful on my wedding day! Thank you, Ann! And brides anywhere in AZ... if you are even a size 12... go to Ann at Strut! You'll be so happy you did!

As a groom, the number one thing that I was looking for in a wedding dress vendor is "did she make my bride happy"? The answer in the case of Strut Bridal in Phoenix was yes, Yes, YES! I actually met Ann, the owner, at one point, though of course I was not permitted to accompany my bride during her shopping, fitting, etc, etc. She was a very responsive person, who clearly remembered quite a bit about my wife, our wedding, and even tidbits that had been mentioned about me. My understanding, from stories that have been related to me, is that the dress that was ultimately chosen was not one my bride would have picked out on her own. Ann watched which dresses my bride picked out, and paid attention to her reactions and then went and got this specific dress. Once my bride tried it on, she was sold. (She chose the silk upgrade). And the dress? Well, yesterday the world got to look at Kate Middelton's dress, and everybody raved. But my friends and I all agree: my bride's was prettier.

Stut is awesome at making curvy girls feel beautiful! Made my dress shopping a lot less stressful then any experience anywhere else!

Strut Bridal Salon provided me with the most beautiful bridal gown. Ann the owner is so kind and sweet, she was very welcoming and incredibly helpful. As soon as I walked through the door I felt like I was her number one priority. The third dress I tried on there I walked away with. I received so many complimnents on my wedding day about how beautiful my dress was. I would recommend Strut to any future bride looking for a dress that fits there curves :)
