Take Cover!

We must first start by saying, we can not imagine our wedding reception without the presence of Take Cover! From the beginning, the band members were genuine, easy to work with, accessible any time we needed to run questions or thoughts by them, and were extremely professional and friendly to everyone in attendance! That's just for starters. The reception itself....AMAZING! The band played such a wide variety of music that everyone was dancing; even during the bouquet/garter toss, people were on the dance floor approaching my wife and I asking "when is the band coming back out?!" The party never dwindled out, and it was so relieving to us to see everyone dancing and enjoying themselves the WHOLE night. We must also say, Take Cover! played our first dance song, and immediately afterwards we were approached by a good friend saying "I had to constantly look to make sure it wasn't a CD playing, it sounded just like the original song!" If that doesn't speak volumes of the amazing talent this band possesses, then nothing will. We are very blessed to have had such an amazing band play for us and honor us at our wedding reception. We are extremely happy that we hired Take Cover to play at our wedding reception. From the very first time we contacted the band, they were professional, friendly and always accommodating to us. They went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with every little detail. Our reception was fun but also classy. Awesome Band!The Take Cover Band was amazing in every way! They were great to work with leading up to the wedding - Jay kept in touch with us and quickly responded to all e-mails and questions.They handled the recorded music for our ceremony, as well as live music during dinner and the reception. They were completely professional - they arrived and set up early - they looked good and sounded even better!They were great at doing a wedding - although they were awesome musicians and a lot of fun, they kept the event about us and not them. Since we had given out kazoos as a wedding favor, the band engaged the guests to accompany them on kazoos in a song - it was so much fun!Everyone at the wedding raved about how great the band was and I would recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I recently got married in Flagfstaff, Arizona. We chose Take Cover to play at our wedding... they were AMAZING! Our guests LOVED them as much as we did. They are a truly a talented group and an absolute pleasure to work with. Jay, the drummer, was so responsive and prompt to all of my emails, calls, texts, etc. I just can't say enough about their professionalism. They fulfilled our expectations above and beyond. They were SO personable, did a great job interacting with the crowd, and created some very memorable moments. They let one of our friends get up and sing a song which was not even on their list, but they still pulled it off and sounded great... well the band did anyway :) Our only dissatisfaction was that we could not have them play longer due to time restrictions on our behalf. I would HIGHLY recommend this group to anyone looking for a memorable night of live music entertainment!

It was a pleasure to have Take Cover play at our wedding. Everyone had a blast and they even let some of our young guests play a song or two that are in a band of their own. "A WEDDING BLAST Doug, Jay and the guys made our wedding a fun celebration! Take Cover! interacted with our family and friends, and made it fun for everyone. The band knows songs from every generation, and was able to include songs for all of our guests; everyone felt like a part of our party. We danced until resort turned down the lights. Doug’s voice was right-on for every song, and the band played every song like they were the original band! The guitar players and drummer are truly talented. They could not have been better! Take-Cover! succeeded in taking our wedding from fun to A BLAST!!!! What a different atmosphere we would have had with a DJ. WE ARE SO THANKFUL TAKE COVER WAS RECOMMENDED TO US! These guys are absolutely hands down the best wedding band ever! They had our guests dancing the entire night and completely rocked it! My husband is a musician himself so the band was the most important decision for him. He chose the band and everyone loved them. They handled our recorded music for the ceremony, did an amazing acoustic set for our cocktail hour, and rocked the house for the reception. They learned two special songs for us, have a gigantic play list, and they took requests from our guests. They even tried to get my husband and his musician friends to play a song together. Every single one of our guests was up and dancing on the floor at some point in the night. Take Cover not only did all this but charged us an astoundingly reasonable price. They were definitely our best money spent for the wedding. They were professional to deal with leading up to the event, they have an extensive contract that covers every possible situation, and overall made us feel extremely comfortable with our decision. These guys are awesome!

WOW!!! Our daughter's wedding rocked the house! As mother of the bride, I credit the band for much of the success of the reception. (Although the catering was awesome too.) Take Cover was amazing, I don't think that anyone was left sitting at the reception. The children were dancing, the old folks were dancing and everyone in between. The music was amazing! The acoustic set at cocktail hour was beautiful and the band played and played and played. You guys really put your heart and soul into it and it showed! All the old time rock and rollers had a blast. If you are planning a wedding and you want a band that will exceed all your expectations - choose this one. Rock on!

I can not express how absolutely wonderful Take Cover was at our wedding. They were able to do our ceremony and reception music and DJ the entire event. The whole band was completely exceptional to work with, they were more than flexible with what we wanted, and they had such professionalism about them however at the same time our reception was more than fun. My husband and I were able to pick the songs we wanted played and put much more on an Ipod for a mixture of things. The guests at our reception had so much fun, I've received many compliments on the band. I don't know what I would have done had I not had this amazing band, they made things run so smoothly, I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would recommend Take Cover to absolutely everyone in need of a band and/or DJ.
