Zuzu's Petals

Poor customer service. Felt that by trying to ask for something less expensive, we were wasting their time. Noone contacted us regarding options after the first meeting until the estimate was sent via email. We were not given options with regard to types of flowers, sizes of arrangements. We had to find pictures and take them in. The flowers were very dissapointing. The bridal bouquet cost $300 and we had a picture of the size and quality of what the bride desired. When we saw the bouquet on the wedding day, it looked more like something a bridesmaid would carry. The centerpieces consited of 3 long stem gladiolas in vases that we provided. We were going for simple and elegant and got a "thrown together" look. All the wrist corsages and bouteneirs were wilted by the end of the reception, and they were roses which usually are pretty sturdy. We did not have a choice for a Florist through Stonebridge Manor. We definetly would not have chosen Zuzu's. Mayby Stonebridge to expand the selection of Vendors.

Marlene and Allison were a pleasure to work with. They were very gracious and accommodating with my small budget I had set for flowers and kept everything within what I could afford. The flowers arrived on the day of right on time and were so beautiful, better than I had expected!! I was very pleased and would definitely recommend Zuzu's Petals to anyone

Really great floral designs for my wedding at Stonebridge Manor. They work with my site frequently, so I knew everything would look great and be there right on time with no extra worrying on my part! They made great bouquets for my party (tulips, my favorite!), and beautiful boutonnieres and corsages.

Zuzus petals did a good job! I wish i wouldve had a little more pink and a little less white in the flowers....i guess i couldve communicated that better though, to me Flowers kinda fell by the wayside. Anyways, Zuzus flowers centerpieces from my weddign lasted 2 weeks after the wedding so the quality is great! Thanks!

The flowers were beaultiful and they did exactly what I asked for. They were wonderful to work with. The flowers were so fresh they lastest for a week after our wedding!

ZuZu’s was extremely easy to work with, even when I had to completely change my flower design when I got laid off. I didn’t have any specific flowers in mind just colors and ideas and they pulled off my vision. Thank you!

Zuzu's Petals made my dream wedding come together. The owners are very sweet, creative and helpful. At my first appointment in their adorable little shop I wasn't really sure what I wanted (other than colors). Marlene, Bess and Cindy helped me develop a vision for my wedding flowers, far surpassing anything that I would have ever come up with on my own. They went above and beyond to help me brainstorm other wedding decor ideas and even made lace wrapped hanging mason jars for along the aisle for me. The ladies also came up with the idea of an orchid garland to hang from the gazebo behind the ceremony space (which I LOVED). The day of my wedding I was blown away by the vibrant, fresh and beautiful flowers. Everyone was impressed with the flowers. My (now) husband and I received numerous compliments on the flowers and praise for our florists. The bouquets, boutenneires, and arrangements all looked better than I could have even imagined. I can't express enough how absolutely gorgeous and amazing all my flowers done by Zuzu's Petals were. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone 1000%!!! I read some of the other reviews and just have to make an observation. A few weeks before my wedding I called Zuzu's Petals because, in the midst of chaos that is wedding planning, I couldn't remember all the flowers that I ordered. They were happy to go over my order with me to ensure that we would have everything we needed. I can certainly see how a bride would forget what flowers she ordered. You meet with the florists months in advance, so it's reasonable that a bride would not remember every detail about her flower order. Zuzu's Petals had written everything down in their file for my wedding, so I had utter confidence that I was getting the flowers I ordered, even if I couldn't remember exactly.

SHe did an amazing job. Our flowers were stunning. The fall leaves on the aisle and table tops were perfect. The pumpkin centerpieces were AMAZING. I have never seen such perfect pumpkins!

ZuZu's Petals was very helpful. I had a vision but knew very little about flowers and pricing. I brought in a few pictures and ideas but didn't know how it would actually turn out. They definitely did what I was looking for.

ZuZu's was referred to us by Stonebridge Manor, and while I was thrilled with our other vendors, ZuZu's fell way short of my expectations. I first met with Beth for my initial consultation and came in very prepared with specific flowers I wanted incorporated and a color scheme that I wanted incorporated, but I was also really interested in getting her recommendations and expert opinion. Together we came up with a flower plan that sounded phenomenal; my bridesmaids would carry 3 lavender hydrangeas with monkey tails incorporated in the bouquet and my bouquet would incorporate the same but would also incorporate more white flowers (peonies, hydrangea, dahlias, and a few others). We also discussed that I did not want to include, under any circumstance, roses or carnations. When I saw the bouquets on the day of my wedding, I was shocked- and not in a good way. I was fairly satisfied with my bouquet although it wasn't completely what I had envisioned, but my bridesmaids bouquets showed virtually no semblance to what Beth and I had discussed. My bridesmaids bouquets, which were supposed to be made of purple hydrangea and monkey tails, were created in various shades of pink ranging from light to hot, hot pink pink and the brightest pink flowers were carnations (a flower that I expressed I wanted no part of!). -Later I also came to find that many of the flowers that decorated the reception were also pink rather than purple! The coordinator at Stonebridge saw how unhappy I was (despite my trying to conceal my disappointment), and when she returned with Beth, all the Beth said was that I wrong about the flowers, that flowers come in varying shades of purple and what I received was in the purple family (even though the flowers were hot pink?), and to remedy the situation, she ripped off the carnation heads and replaced them with purple daisies- completely changing the flower scheme and bouquet quality that I had wanted (the carnations that were left in the bouquets in conjunction with the wilting daisies made the bouquets look cheap). To top things off, the quality of the flowers was (overall) poor, and I personally feel that I was way overcharged for the product I actually received. I have no problem paying extra when it comes to quality, customer service, and satisfaction, but I do not feel that I received any of these things from ZuZu's Petals. Stonebridge Manor, on the other hand, handled my dissatisfaction AMAZINGLY and made up for ZuZu's Petals who dropped the ball.

As I was preparing to write a review for Zuzu's Petals I took a moment to scan through other reviews to see what had been written. I was astounded. I saw criticism from people saying that their flowers were "wilted" and "brown" or not the color promised......I have been in contact with Zuzu's Petals for years and NEVER had anything to complain about. Marlene and Bess (Not Beth) just did the flowers and decorations for my wedding and they were absolutely amazing....I had no problems with anything. Going into the wedding preparations I had no idea what color scheme I wanted in my bouquet or even what kind of flowers. They sat my mom and I down and very paitently went through options with me and helped to create an overwhelmingly beautiful bouquet that suited me perfectly. They also just covered my sister in law's wedding and everything was beyond perfect; really nobody could have asked for a better job to be done. Aside from the weddings I have been getting Valentine's day flowers from them for years, and teachers from the school I was employed with regularly recieved them from doting husbands.....nobody ever once complained. How can you find fault with perfection? Thank you so much ladies for superb service and feelings of immense satisfaction!!!

Zuzu's Petals was our florist assigned through Stonebridge Manor, and was the vendor I was least happy with. At our meeting, the lady seemed very nice and offered some suggestions, and even took on the task of making the flower girl wand I described. I was very excited about the flowers. However, the day of the wedding, I was disappointed. The flowers were already wilting and browning when we got them (which I'm sure has something to do with Arizona heat, but shouldn't they at least be fresh when we receive them?). While taking pre-wedding photos, one of the flowers fell out of my bouquet, and was fixed by shoving it back in. Also, the material the bouquet was wrapped with looked pretty cheap, not like the nice, sparkly fabric that had been described to me. The flowers did look good in pictures at least. The centerpieces were also not what we had discussed, but still looked nice. The flower girl wand, which was supposed to be a ball of roses, was a ball of baby's breath or something similar, but it still was cute. Overall, the flowers looked nice and I have no real complaints, but I was disappointed with the quality and the fact that the centerpieces really didn't look like what we had discussed.

The bouquets and center pieces were great!! Marlene created exactly what we wanted! I can't thank her more!!

Zuzu's Petals was amazing! We booked them through our venue (Stonebridge Manor) and were amazed at the results. During our consultation appointment I was a little flustered because our computer had crashed and I couldn't retrieve all the pictures of stuff we wanted. I felt that I wasn't describing the types of flowers accurately. I eventually got our computer restored and was able to send an email of the pictures I was able to save and after that I knew they had it all under control. The day of our wedding the flower centerpieces and aisle decor looked amazing. My bouquet turned out better than I could have imaged and everyone loved the flower girl's head piece. Thank you Zuzu's Petals for being flexible, understanding, but most of all.....AMAZING!

Cindi was wonderful, and my flowers were absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here!! The flowers lasted all night without wilting or sagging. All my bridesmaids loved their bouquets. Perfect service.

ZuZu's Petals did an amazing job with the flowers for my wedding. The gazebo was gorgeous with giant floral arrangements on either side. I had Gerber Daisy's going up the aisle and rose petals sprinkled down the aisle and on my head table. My bouqet and my 6 bridesmaids bouquet's were phenomenol! I went into the meeting with the owner of ZuZu's and knew that I loved roses and told her the color theme I wanted. I let her run with it and the final product was out of this world! I would highly reccommend ZuZu's Petals for any bride to be!

The floral arrangements were absolutely beautiful. ZuZu's took my vision and made my wedding centerpieces, overlays, bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages perfect for our wedding day. I highly recommend them to all new brides in the east valley.

While the woman who took our requests was very friendly and helpful, I was less than impressed with the quality of flowers she decided to use. Maybe it's the Arizona weather, but the flowers looked rather wilted when we got them. The flowers on our table were not worth the upgrade.

ZuZu's Petals put together my bouquets exactly how I envisioned them. They were prompt and easy to deal with on the phone.
